Accountant (Part-time 30hrs or Fulltime 40hrs)

Your tasks:

  • You are responsible for carrying out all balance sheet accounting.
  • You prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and prepare annual financial statements according to HGB and prepare the monthly/quarterly reporting package.
  • You will process fixed asset and general ledger accounting.
  • You are responsible for the accounting of all business transactions in Debtors area (easyBill) and Creditors (DATEV Unternehmen-Online and DATEV ReWe).
  • You are responsible for the smooth running and control of the cash flow.
  • You process travel expense accounting according to German legislation (PLEO-Virtuelle Kasse and Reisekosten and TravelPerk Reisebuchungen as administrator).
  • You post the payment transactions and create the payment run.
  • You are responsible for the reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
  • You accompany us in the digitalization process and support as well as further develop the digital documents processing.
  • You will prepare the advance sales tax returns and other statistical reports (Zusammenfassendemeldung).
  • You work closely with external auditors, tax consultants, tax office and tax auditors.
  • You develop new processes and optimize existing accounting and operational processes.
  • You are an active part of the budgeting process.
  • You prepare payroll accounting (DATEV LODAS).
  • You process the social security reporting and certification and, coordinate the legal deduction and reporting obligations to German statutory social entities and institutions.
  • The administration and maintenance of personnel data (FastDocs).
  • You act as an interface between accounting and HR.

Your profile:

  • You have completed commercial training, an additional qualification as a certified accountant is an advantage.
  • You already have several years of professional experience in a comparable position.
  • You are confident in using Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • A structured and independent way of working is natural for you.
  • You like to work in a team and enjoy improving working methods and processes.
  • You are open to new things and motivated to exploit new digital opportunities.
