HR Administrator
This role would suit a driven and ambitious graduate /trainee with an interest in Sustainability & Projects – it would suit an entry-level candidate or someone working toward CIPD or looking for a placement year. It is essential to have excellent communication, administration and organisational skills as well as good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Key responsibilities for an Apprentice Support Executive include:
- Create partnerships with universities locally in each area
- Attend Universities / Job fairs to attract candidates
- Assist with the recruitment and shortlisting of candidates for each intake of the scheme
- Prepare and secure placements for trainees, identifying placement managers within each organisation
- Liaise with the scheme training and placement managers to ensure that the required level of support is provided to trainees
- Assist with the planning and preparation of the trainee training and development programme
- Administer the training and development events on the day (whether online or face-to-face)
- Ensure that all scheme documentation is maintained and kept up to date
- Liaise with the apprenticeship provider to ensure that all apprentices are processed in a timely manner
- Liaise with relevant organisations to carry out the onboarding of candidates
- In conjunction with the internal team work to ensure the longevity of the scheme
- Travel to and attend events/meetings throughout the country as required
- Identify opportunities to enhance the scheme
Other HR Duties
- Provide all employees with HR expert assistance in what relates with HR
- Liaise with benefits providers to efficiently maximize their services quality and results; Ensuring benefits plans are cost-effective and competitive.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is filled in HR platform and delivered to the employee and to the company to comply with labour law and company policies and procedures;
- Be accountable for the integrity of the information entered and maintained by reviewing entries for accuracy and accordance with HR processes;
- Respond and follow up on all queries received by any of the HR channels available (email phone, Employee self-service tool, face to face)
- Perform the daily administration of the employment data, maintain appropriate records and monitor the training for employee’s
- Assist with the annual open enrolment, including audits and system data entry;
- Prepare and regularly update communication materials about HR matters(e.g. website, booklets) to provide employees with the most up-to-date information
- Prepare and regularly update reports regarding headcount, overtime, organizational charts, turnover

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field. A master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or HR field is preferred.
- Must have experience of managing UK Apprenticeship Levy
- CIPD qualified or working toward similar or relevant qualification
- Passionate about what you do and take pride in delivering the very best work
- Remains calm under pressure, can manage a number of tasks simultaneously and maintains excellent attention to detail while working to tight deadlines
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a range of people
- Great writing and administrative skills, with competency in using Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
