Head of North America – Longevity Power (London)
Longevity Power is at the forefront of the clean energy revolution, delivering innovative solutions to real estate investors across Europe and North America. Our comprehensive approach includes on-site renewables, off-site power procurement, and EV charging infrastructure.
As the Head of North America, you will be responsible for leading and growing our US business. You will oversee all aspects of our operations in the US, including business development, project management, client relationships, and team management.
Responsibilities Include:
- Influencing & Negotiating: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively influence stakeholders, build relationships, negotiate agreements, and identify and pursue new business opportunities with real estate owners, developers, and investors.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management principles, driving revenue growth and profitability for the US business.
- Project Management: Oversee the successful delivery of renewable energy projects, from initial concept to final commissioning.
- Market Expertise: Deep understanding of the industry, competitive landscape, and market trends.
- Strategic Vision: Able to develop and articulate a compelling long-term strategic vision for the organization.
- Collaboration: Work with the wider-US team to uncover business opportunities and share best practice.
- Team Development: Develop and grow a local US team, managing key hires, training personnel and taking responsibility for employees’ personal development.
- Resource management: Ability to effectively allocate and manage resources (financial, human, technological) to achieve organizational goals, as well as to oversee and optimize all aspects of business operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in EV charging, renewable energy consultancy and/or project management.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- A strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Demonstrated commitment to hard work, dedication, and a results-oriented approach.
- Strong financial acumen and business development skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment, adapting to unexpected changes and overcoming obstacles.
