Longevity Partners was appointed by L’Étoile Properties to certify BREEAM-In Use the office building De Monarch I in The Hague. This office building dates back to the 1960s but was largely renovated and expanded at the beginning of 2012. This allows the building to meet the highest sustainable building standards. It has a gross floor area of approximately 25,800 m2 and comprises of 20 stories, of which 15 are equipped for an office function. The property also has two layers of underground parking garage and has an energy label A.
In addition, a BREEAM In-Use certification was issued on behalf of L’Étoile Properties for office building NOW in Hoofddorp. Part of this assignment was to provide an optimization report. This office building consists of five stories and has an underground parking garage. It is located on the world’s first Cradle to Cradle optimized working environment: Park 20|20. The design of the building takes into account circular design principles, with the building specifically designed for disassembly. In addition, the building is connected to the ATES system of Park 20|20. The total gross floor area of the building covers more than 10,000 m2. The ground floor is equipped for a shopping function and an office function. The building has an energy label A as well.
