Longevity Partnersโ renewable energy division, Longevity Power, designed and modelled an integrated solar PV and battery energy storage system (BESS) to support the deployment of a new electric vehicle (EV) fleet at a logistics hub in the Netherlands. The system was engineered to optimise onsite renewable generation, balance energy loads, and ensure reliable charging capacity for daily operations. Through advanced energy modelling, Longevity Power assessed system configurations, storage capacity, and operational performance under multiple demand scenarios. The resulting design enabled the client to reduce grid dependency, enhance operational resilience, and progress toward full fleet electrification powered by clean energy. This project demonstrates how integrated renewable and storage solutions can accelerate decarbonisation within the logistics sector while maintaining performance and cost efficiency.
