Étienne Cadestin

Founder & Global CEO

Etienne founded Longevity Partners in 2015. Prior to that, Etienne worked at Knight Frank, JLL and the United Nations Environment Programme (the leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agendas).

Etienne founded Longevity Partners in 2015. Prior to that, Etienne worked at Knight Frank, JLL and the United Nations Environment Programme (the leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agendas).

Etienne has more than a decade of experience in sustainable property investment and strategy. He currently advises the largest property investment companies in Europe and is on the board of Orée, the leading French think tank on Biodiversity, circular economy and ESG reporting.

In 2019, Etienne won the EG Awards in the category ‘Future of Real Estate’. Before that, Etienne was picked to be an Estate Gazette’s ‘Property Rising Star’ and nominated for numerous awards as one of the most active young leaders in the sustainability and real estate industries. He regularly speaks at high-level events, giving his vision for smart cities, carbon-neutral buildings, wellbeing in the work place and the future of the real estate industry.

Etienne graduated from the London School of Economics. A keen sportsman, Etienne has run nine marathons and enjoys playing tennis, sailing, skiing, cycling and golf. He is married, with a daughter and a son.

Ed Wealend

Chief Innovation Officer

Ed joined Longevity in September 2022, following 15 years of experience working as an engineering consultant. Ed brings with him global project experience, including 5 years in the Asia-Pac region.

As group Technical Director, Ed spearheads technical optimization across our services. He is an expert in multiple areas, including building energy efficiency, asset, and portfolio scale net-zero carbon strategies, passive design, heritage buildings, and air quality.

Ken Russell

Director of Public Sector Engagement & Southeast Private Sector Development

Ken Russell opened the Miami office for Longevity Partners in 2022 after serving on the City of Miami Commission for two terms. At Longevity, Ken serves as US Director, Public Sector Engagement & Southeast Private Sector Development. In the public sector role, he will be working to help local, state, and federal government offices meet environmental and climate change goals.

In the public sector role, he will be working to help local, state, and federal government offices meet environmental and climate change goals.

As a legislator, Ken passed some of Florida’s most comprehensive environmental laws, including the establishment of a benchmarking and optimization ordinance for private development to help Miami meet its carbon-neutral goals. Ken also passed a series of water quality ordinances, including some of the state’s strongest fertilizer use legislation and an environmental crimes ordinance that holds polluters accountable for their runoff into the bay. Ken originally ran for office after leading a neighborhood effort to remediate the city’s contaminated parks. Prior to that, Ken founded a fast-growing wholesale business in the water sports industry and even worked in over 50 countries as a professional yo-yo player!

Ken’s entrepreneurial background and public sector knowledge will help Longevity Partners bring the private and public sectors together for action on climate change. Ken speaks four languages and lives in Coconut Grove with his veterinarian wife and their two daughters, two cats, and one dog.

Molly Polk

Director of ESG Strategy USA

Molly Polk joined Longevity Partners in 2022 after having previously served as Director of Sustainability Studies at the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a PhD in Geography. At Longevity, Molly is leading its US business unit for ESG Strategy and advises our Data Management and Reporting team. In July 2023, she was appointed to be the US Managing Director. 

Molly Polk joined Longevity Partners in 2022, leading its US business unit for ESG Strategy and advises our Data Management and Reporting team. In July of 2023, she was appointed to be the US Managing Director. She previously served on the faculty at the University of Texas at Austin where she developed the Sustainability Studies degree, now ranked #11 in the nation, and conducted policy-relevant research in Peru on the effects of climate change on mountain ecosystems and communities that was funded by the National Science Foundation. Prior to her academic career, Molly was a top performing commercial real estate broker at Grubb & Ellis, which was purchased by Newmark, specializing in land and investment properties. She is among a small group of people with both a CCIM pin and a Ph.D. Four of Molly’s scientific publications on impacts of climate change have been cited in the IPCC’s AR6 reports.

Molly earned a B.A. in Latin American Studies from Vanderbilt University, an M.A in Latin American Studies and a Ph.D. in Geography from The University of Texas at Austin. She speaks Spanish and holds the CCIM designation. During her free time, you can find Molly pedaling gravel roads or trying to convince a fish to eat a fly.

Anthony Maguire

Director at Longevity Power

Anthony joined Longevity in 2017, having worked previously for JLL’s Upstream team, focusing on sustainability solutions within the commercial real estate sector. 

Anthony joined Longevity in 2017, having worked previously for JLL’s Upstream team, focusing on sustainability solutions within the commercial real estate sector. Since joining Longevity, he has helped to build out its core services around onsite and offsite renewable energy and electric vehicle charging deployment, and has successfully overseen the installation of numerous projects. Anthony passionately believes that the clean energy transition should be viewed as an opportunity and as Director of Longevity Power, his role is to find solutions to ensure that real estate investors and commercial occupiers are able to fully realize the potential of this opportunity.

Anthony holds an M.Sc. in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, London and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from University College London.

Roger Toussaint

Managing Director Netherlands

Having been active in the field of sustainable urban development since 2012, Roger joined Longevity Partners as Managing Director for the Netherlands.

Having been active in the field of sustainable urban development since 2012, Roger joined Longevity Partners as Managing Director for the Netherlands. He has a bachelor’s degree in Regional Development and Innovation and a master’s degree in Sustainable Development – Environmental Governance.

Roger joined Longevity Partners from OPPS, where he worked as a public procurement consultant on integrated contracts (DBFMO) for sustainable & healthy buildings, and previously worked at TNO (The Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research) on low-carbon climate resilient cities. Roger has as a strong motivation to accelerate the transition towards sustainable cities through strategic advice, benchmarking and by connecting people, initiatives and innovations.

In addition to his work in sustainability, Roger is a board member of Stichting Flor Ayuda, a Dutch charitable foundation for deprived children in Guatemala. Roger is a tennis player, coffee drinker, a movie enthusiast and has a passion for photography.

Bernard d’Arche

Managing Director Longevity Partners France & Belux

Bernard joined Longevity Partners France & Belux in 2020 as Business Development Director, before being appointed Managing Director of Longevity Partners France & Belux in 2023. He holds an MBA from the I.E. Business School in Madrid, and also has a degree in philosophy and economics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

Prior to joining Longevity Partners, he contributed to the sustainable reconstruction process of the town of Lac-Megantic, Quebec, Canada, destroyed in 2013 by a train carrying 7 million litres of crude oil. He holds an MBA from the I.E. Business School in Madrid, and also has a degree in philosophy and economics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

Kemmu Kawai

Country Director Japan

Kemmu Kawai joined Longevity Partners Japan in September 2022 as the Country Director. Based in Tokyo, he oversees all operations and activities in Japan, the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

He brings him more than 16 years of experience in finance where he specialised in real estate and credit investments. Before joining Longevity Partners, he served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Norinchukin Bank and as Investment Manager at Center Point Development. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring Accounting and Finance from The University of Sydney.

Laure Ferrand

Global Head of Transaction Services

Laure Ferrand joined Longevity Partners in early 2020 as a senior energy and sustainability consultant, bringing with her years of experience in energy performance contracts for a major CAC40 company. Laure took over the management of Longevity’s French office in 2021 before being appointed as Associate Director, Head of Longevity Transaction Services, in 2023.

With a Master’s degree in engineering and an MBA, Laure has acquired the skills to lead large-scale energy projects. Laure also pursued a 3-year entrepreneurial journey before joining Longevity, adding to her business and strategic thinking skills.

Laure is an advocate of ‘business doing good’ and an innovation supporter.

Paul Czembor

Associate Director, Energy

Paul Czembor joined Longevity Partners in December 2022 as Associate Director, Energy. With over a decade of experience in the energy service industry, Paul has consulted clients in the real estate sector while promoting the efficient and economic use of energy.

Paul has held a variety of responsibilities that have furthered the advancement of renewable energy, notably through the optimization of heating systems, predictive maintenance, dynamic hydraulic balancing, smart (sub-)metering, energy data analysis, balancing of energy flows, smart building solutions, and much more. 

Paul is a certified Energy Efficiency Expert by the Federal Office of Economic Affairs and Export Control of Germany (BAFA) with an educational background in Dipl.-Ing. (=M.Sc.) in Building Services, Energy and Environment and postgraduate studies in General Management. 

He is a keen cyclist and loves spending his time travelling, and enjoys live music and live sports (notably football and basketball).  

Ding Li

Associate Director - Strategy, Service Line Lead

Ding Li leads Longevity Partners’ Strategy service across the group. She and her team advise on ESG strategies and implementation, science-based net-zero roadmaps and social value across the property landscape.

With eight years of experience in the ESG field, Ding works across Europe, America, and the Asia Pacific region. She marries her knowledge in strategic planning and experience working in rating agencies and engineering firms to develop ESG strategies that are ambitious and practical. As of Q2 2022, Longevity Partners developed ESG Strategies and provided ongoing ESG management support for over 40 companies and funds across 25 countries.

Accoladed by GreenBiz within its 2018 class of 30 under 30, Ding is a Social Return On Investment (SROI) Accredited Practitioner and holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and Management.

Agathe Kuhn

Associate Director - Policy and Legislation, Service Line Lead

Agathe joined Longevity Partners as a Senior Policy Consultant in 2021. She previously worked at the Climate Group and the European Climate Foundation, where she developed strong expertise in climate and sustainability with a focus on policy analysis, resource mobilization and project management.

Tom Lawton

Associate Director - ESG Reporting and Data Management

Tom Lawton joined Longevity Partners in 2023 as lead for ESG Reporting and Data Management globally. 

Tom Lawton joined Longevity Partners in 2023 as lead for ESG Reporting and Data Management globally. He has a background in real estate, implementing a robust data management strategy and delivering ESG reports to stakeholders within a multi-national retail business. Prior to this, he worked as a consultant, supporting firms large and small across various business sectors to develop, integrate and improve data management and to ensure transparent and accurate reporting. 

Divya Hariramani Herrero

Associate Director - Sustainable Design & Wellbeing, Service Line Lead

Divya joined Longevity Partners in 2017. She specializes on asset level ESG strategy focusing on a holistic implementation of net-zero carbon, social, and innovation initiatives during the design process.

Olivia O'Brien

Associate Director – Head of Climate Resilience, Service Line Lead

Olivia joined Longevity Partners as a Sustainability Analyst in 2018. During this time, she has gained extensive experience across the services of strategy, secondments and certifications before developing our Climate Resilience service line in 2020. 

Olivia joined Longevity Partners as a Sustainability Analyst in 2018. During this time, she has gained extensive experience across the services of strategy, secondments and certifications before developing our Climate Resilience service line in 2020.  She continues to lead this service line alongside conducting her third part-time secondment, managing all global instructions to assist clients in identifying, quantifying and mitigating projected climate-related risks at all levels.

She has an MA (Hons) in French and Geography from the University of St Andrews, during which time she focused predominantly on climate change science and policy. Prior to joining Longevity Partners, she worked on sustainable livelihood development in rural Nicaragua and at the United Nations Environment Programme (Geneva) evaluating their international projects while focusing on stakeholder engagement.

Peter Howle

Associate Director, Business Unit Lead for Existing Building Certifications

Peter is a specialist in Green Building Certifications and leads Longevity Partners’ BREEAM In-Use Service Line.  Having started his career as an architect, he has designed innovative buildings of exceptional environmental performance, working across Europe and North America.

He studied Architecture and Urban Design at the University of Cambridge and worked at two of the UK’s leading architectural practices, including AHMM, recipient of the coveted Stirling Prize.  Developing from his keen interest in the natural environment, Peter specialized in green building construction, achieving industry leading Passivhaus and BREEAM ratings across his schemes. At a strategic level, Peter has developed master plans and worked in policy, striving to create vibrant and inclusive urban environments.

A keen creative, Peter is passionate about cooking, writing, art and entrepreneurship. As a sportsperson, he loves rowing and cycling.

Stefano Capacci

Stefano Capacci is our Business Unit Lead for Sustainable Finance, servicing clients with green loans & bonds, responsible investment strategies, and ESG portfolio integration.

Stefano joined Longevity Partners in 2021, following previous work experience in NGO management and consulting. Stefano’s goal is to create a positive environmental impact through ESG advisory.

Cale Reeves

Dr. Cale Reeves joined the Longevity Partners team as Associate Director of Energy and Net Zero Carbon. Since joining Longevity Partners, Cale has led the US team to offer new products that leverage the power of statistical modeling, to design new tools and workflows that streamline delivery and enhance quality, and to develop new internal training procedures that will support our energy team across the globe.

Before Longevity, Cale was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology School of Public Policy. He’s spent the past decade working with teams to find solutions to the thorniest problems in the energy space, and he brings this experience to his role at Longevity.  The global energy team here at Longevity Partners has such an amazing diversity of expertise, skills, and ideas – all tied together by a shared dedication to our mission. Cale understands that this decade is our last, best chance to rapidly grow the capacity to reduce emissions in buildings – this is the all-hands effort of our era, and the time is now. He is eager for the opportunity this new global leadership opportunity presents to help find opportunities to grow capacity as individuals and as a business unit.

Roger Baumann joined Longevity in 2019 as a non-executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee. Roger Baumann brings 20 years of business experience in Real Estate, Consulting, Product Development, IT, Finance, Sustainability and Operations.

His most recent position was as COO & Head of Sustainability Global Real Estate for Credit Suisse Asset Management in Zürich, Switzerland and as Managing Director for the Credit Suisse German entity, Credit Suisse Asset Management KAG, based in Frankfurt. He has just joined Zurich Insurance Group Ltd. as COO & Head Product Development Global Real Estate based in Zürich effective September 30, 2019. Roger has a Civil Engineering Degree from ETH Zürich and holds an international MBA from the State University of New York. In addition, he is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a member of the European Investment Committee of the EU-funded research project CRREM (Carbon Risk Real Estate monitor).

Clémence Bechu

Board Member Longevity Partners France & Belux

Clémence has a MSG from the University Dauphine Paris, and a Masters in International Project Management from the ESCP.

She has developed a career open to the world and cultures; the 2 years she spent in China between 2002 and 2005 allowed her to discover the inherent structural link between urban and societal revolution, on a large scale, already supporting the agency on the development of local projects: the renovation of the Qianmen district in Beijing, and the extension of the city of Pingyao. With her experience and real passion for research, technology and the emergence of new markets, she trained in Strategy Consulting at Capgemini Consulting before creating and developing an innovative urban logistics start-up, “WineSitting.”

In 2014, she decided to join the agency as Director of Development, to implement a development strategy focused on innovation and sustainable urban planning. She is implementing a project-based approach that directs the culture of the family-owned, century-old agency towards the future. Very involved in the development of biomimetic innovation alongside the CEEBIOS, within which she co-founded the Biomim’City Lab, as well as in various works related to the city’s climate issues, Clémence is developing numerous new projects, all inspired by nature.

This commitment for sustainable cities has led her to become a partner of the Société Française d’Urbanisme. Clémence won the “Choiseul City of Tomorrow” ranking, promotions 2019 and 2020, as well as a director of Real Estech and member of the Mission Committees of the Frey group and of the ELAN company.

Clémence loves writing, inventing stories and poems. She is married and the mother of 2 children, with whom she conducts a whole lot of experiments to satisfy her thirst for science.

Yvon Martinet

Board Member Longevity Partners France & Belux

Yvon joined Longevity Partners as a member of the board of directors in 2021. Considered to be one of the most eminent lawyers in environmental law in France, he was notably named Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite in 2006. 

Yvon joined Longevity Partners as a member of the board of directors in 2021. He is a former vice-president of the order and former member of the council of the Paris Bar Association. Yvon Martinet has solid experience in real estate law and industrial environment law, both nationally and internationally. Since 2003, he has been an expert at the French Institute of International Legal Experts (I.F.E.J.I) in environmental, natural resources and food law.

Jürgen Fenk

Jürgen Fenk joined the advisory board of Longevity Partners Germany in 2021. Jürgen is the former CEO of Primonial REIM and has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate industry.

He is also a Governing Trustee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), having previously served as Chair of ULI Europe. As a member of the German advisory board, Jürgen Fenk provides strategic advice to the German and global management teams.

David Cropper

Board Member Longevity Partners INC, USA

After 22 years at TMG Partners where he served as Director of Development and as a member of the Executive Team and Investment Committee, David joined the advisory board of Longevity Partners USA in 2022.

David Cropper worked with TMG Partners for 22 years where he served as Director of Development and was a member of both the Executive Management team and the Investment Committee.

He has 37 years of experience in real estate development including project design, entitlement, construction and finance.

He has been a partner in more than 20 million square feet of development projects and at TMG was responsible for The Crossing | San Bruno, an award-winning $250 million dollar mixed-use transit-oriented development, as well as 650 Townsend, a large mixed-use office and retail project in San Francisco and most recently led the acquisition and redevelopment of Champion Station, a 810,000 square foot rehabilitation of Cisco Systems’ former headquarters.

David’s career began in commercial real estate finance at Union Bank and Comerica Bank where he oversaw Comerica’s real estate lending practice throughout the west.

He is involved with NAIOP, Habitat for Humanity and serves as Chair of the Sustainable Development Council of the Urban Land Institute.

David has a B.A. degree in English Literature and Religious Studies from Occidental College.

Tamar Dane Dor-Ner

Board Member Longevity Partners

Tamar joined Longevity Partners in 2022 as the External Senior Advisor to the global management board. She is a partner at Bain & Company and has been with the firm since 1999. Tamar is currently the managing partner of the firm’s Boston office, overseeing all local firm activity. 

Tamar Dane Dor-Ner is a partner at Bain & Company. She has been with the firm since 1999 and has worked in the New York, San Francisco and Stockholm offices of the firm. Currently, she is the managing partner of the firm’s Boston office, overseeing all local firm activity. She is also a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and the chair of the Risk Committee.

More than a decade ago, Tamar founded Bain’s Brand Positioning & Strategy group and has long served as a leading member of our Private EquityRetail and Customer Strategy & Marketing practices.

In addition to brand strategy, Tamar has led hundreds of diligence efforts, focusing on Retail and Consumer Products and typically evaluating brand strength, strategy and resilience. She previously led our PE retail investing in the Americas.

She has also led multiple engagements supporting corporate retail clients through transformative Mergers and Acquisitions, from diligence to integration and synergy capture.

Beyond transactions, Tamar’s corporate retail work has been underpinned by the generation of new-to-world customer insights and their profitable application in brand strategy, product and category management, pricing and merchandising. Her core clients have spanned grocery, club, drug and mass retail, as well as the restaurant and apparel sectors.

Tamar graduated with master’s and bachelor’s degrees, magna cum laude, from Northwestern University. While there, she was named a Weinberg and James Alton James Scholar. She serves on the Boston Preparatory Charter School Foundation board and the board of Cradles to Crayons.

She lives in Boston with her husband Dan and two sons, Felix and Gideon.
