ESG Strategy for Brookfield Properties

DELIVERABLES:

• Longevity Partners undertook a review of Brookfield’s ESG policies and of relevant ESG legislation in Germany and the UK, including planned and potential legislation, to determine the regulatory risks to Brookfield’s investment strategy.
• Longevity delivered a peer review of six peers to identify where Brookfield sat in relation to ESG best practice across the sector.
• Longevity undertook internal and external stakeholder engagement to build a materiality matrix to identify the most relevant ESG areas to prioritise in constructing Brookfield’s ESG strategy.
• Finally, Longevity submitted and presented an ESG strategy report with actions and KPIs to meet UNPRI and SDG-compliant targets.
