HR Intern

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This role offers hands-on experience in a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people operations and a keen interest in building a career in HR.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding
  • Assist in posting job openings on various platforms and tracking applications.
  • Coordinate interviews, communicate with candidates, and provide timely feedback.
  • Support onboarding processes, including document collection, orientation scheduling, and ensuring a seamless new hire experience.
  1. HR Administration
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
  • Support the preparation of HR-related documentation, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and policies.
  • Assist with compliance tracking, ensuring all employee files are up-to-date and audit-ready.
  1. Employee Engagement
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events.
  • Gather feedback from employees through surveys and assist in analysing results.
  • Help create communication materials for internal announcements or newsletters.
  1. Training and Development
  • Assist in organising training sessions and maintaining training records.
  • Support in preparing materials and coordinating logistics for workshops or seminars.
  1. Ad-hoc Projects
  • Contribute to HR projects, such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, policy reviews, or organisational surveys.
  • Conduct research on HR trends and provide insights to the team.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background

  • a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Preferred (not mandatory)

  • Familiarity with HRIS or recruitment platforms.
  • Previous internship or work experience in HR or administrative roles.
